Further to the announcement in Q4 2025 of TEP’s investment into the SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) moulding process, we can confirm the pending completion of the 2 1200T presses at Cannon ERGOS in Italy. In addition, over the course of the summer, M&E plus civil works have commenced to accommodate the presses. These works are due for completion at the end of September with both presses undertaking testing shortly after in Milan. Delivery and commissioning will then take place over Q4 2026.
TEP remains on track to provide this new moulding process from January 2027 to complement its existing Thermoplastic, Thermoset (pDCPD) and Finishing / Assembly operations.
